FOIA Request to Town Of Belmont Regarding New Voter Registrations on November 7, 2024.
In our continued commitment to provide comprehensive and accurate news coverage on local governmental affairs, we at SC Wisconsin News have formally requested records from the Town of Belmont under the Wisconsin Open Records Law, §19.31 et seq. The request specifically asks for a list of new voters who registered to vote on November 5, 2024.
As a media organization, we believe in the importance of transparency and accountability in public institutions. Access to such public records is essential for us to fulfill our professional responsibilities.
