A Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request was sent to the Village of Neshkoro regarding new voter registrations on November 7, 2024. The request was made by SC Wisconsin News, a media organization dedicated to providing comprehensive and accurate news coverage on local governmental affairs.

The specific information requested was a list of new voters who registered to vote on November 5, 2024. As an integral part of our commitment to transparency and accountability in public institutions, we at SC Wisconsin News believe access to such public records is crucial for fulfilling our professional responsibilities.

We emphasized our role as media professionals in gathering and reporting news to the public and therefore requested a fee waiver for the processing of this information. Our goal is always to ensure that the public has access to essential information about their local government’s activities.

We are currently awaiting a response from the Village of Neshkoro and will continue to follow up on this matter as part of our ongoing efforts to provide comprehensive coverage of local governmental affairs.
