A Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request was sent to the Village of Neshkoro regarding new voter registrations on November 7, 2024. The request was made by SC Wisconsin News, a media organization dedicated to providing comprehensive and accurate news coverage on local governmental affairs.
The specific information requested was a list of new voters who registered to vote on November 5, 2024. We emphasized our role as media professionals in gathering and reporting news to the public and therefore requested a fee waiver for the processing of this information. Our goal is always to ensure that the public has access to essential information about their local government’s activities.
