FOIA Request to Village of Pardeeville Regarding Same Day Registered Voters for 2024 Election on November 7, 2024.

As part of our ongoing commitment to provide comprehensive and accurate news coverage on local governmental affairs, we at SC Wisconsin News have sent a request under the Wisconsin Open Records Law, §19.31 et seq., to the Village of Pardeeville. The request, dated November 7, 2024, seeks access to a list of new voters who registered to vote on Election Day, November 5, 2024.

Access to public records is essential for us at SC Wisconsin News in fulfilling our professional responsibilities. These include holding public institutions accountable and providing transparency to the public. Given our role in disseminating information, we believe we are eligible for a fee waiver as media professionals.
