City of Columbus issued the following announcement on May 23.

Hillside Cemetery is owned by the City of Columbus and is operated by the Hillside Cemetery Association with maintenance and repair responsibilities being delegated to the Department of Public Works employees. The cemetery has updated its contact information.

Questions and purchasing cemetery lots can be directed to call Public Works at 920-623-5908 or email either columbusdpw@columbuswi.us or directordpw@columbuswi.us. Public Works may be contacted about renting the Whitney Memorial Chapel as well.

Funeral directors making arrangements for burials can contact the Department of Public Works to locate and mark the burial site. Arrangements can the Public Works Department has regular hours from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
