Event Description:
Have you been the victim of a scam? The Waushara-Wautoma Senior Center has assembled a panel of experts who will help you to be able to spot a scam and get out of it if it happens.
The panel consists of Waushara County Sheriff Wally Zuehlke; Brenda Henke, Branch Manager, Associated Bank; Barb Richter, Branch Manager, US Bank; and Courtney Anclam, Senior Program Specialist, AARP. We will also have a member of the community who was the victim of a scam on the panel.
This free program is open to everyone. Please join us and bring a neighbor. No reservations are necessary. After the panel members have made their short presentation, the floor will open for comments and questions from the audience. Feel free to share any experience you have had in this area to help prevent the same from happening to your friends and neighbors.
