Event Details:

Stepping On is a 7-week, interactive group falls prevention program that can help you learn ways to avoid falls, stay independent, and keep doing the things you love. Workshops will take place from 1:30-3:30 p.m. each Tuesday, February 1 – March 15.

You’ll learn:

To identify and remove/avoid fall hazards

Adaptable strength and balance exercises

How vision, hearing, medication, footwear, strength and balance affect your risk of falling

Stepping On is for adults age 60 and older who have fallen in the past year or who have a fear of falling and who live at home or an independent apartment.

Advanced registration is required. Class size is limited, as social distancing will be utilized. Face masks are required.
