CITY OF COLUMBUS: City of Columbus Cooling Shelters

City of Columbus issued the following announcement on July 17

The City of Columbus has opened cooling shelters for any resident in need.  The 24 hour cooling shelter will be the Community Center located at 161 N. Dickason Blvd, Columbus, WI.  The Community Center will remain open as a 24 hour cooling shelter until Sunday, July 19th, 2020 at 8:45 PM.  The Columbus Library will also be available as a cooling shelter during their opening hours.  The library hours are Friday 9 AM - 5:30 PM, and Saturday 9 AM - 1 PM.  Please utilize these shelters if you are having any difficulties with the heat.  Remember to stay hydrated!  If you have any concerns related to heat or cooling shelters, please call Columbus Emergency Management at 920-350-5818.
