Green Lake Area Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Oct. 19
The natural beauty and recreation in the Green Lake area are infinite. Let’s be honest… the Green Lake visitors take the best photos and we know you’ve captured a few fantastic shots!
how to submit:
This is your chance to dig out your photos or get exploring to capture new photos. Submit your photos for a chance to be featured in our 2021 Visitors Guide and social media platforms.
- Head outside or find those perfect captures of your favorite Green Lake activities – colorful sunsets, outdoor exploration, cozy hideaways, delicious food/drinks, etc
- Enter your favorite photographs into this form
- Submit photos of your choice by November 5th, 2020 to be entered

photography guidelines
All images must meet the following requirements. You can use the list below as a checklist.
- File format: Photos must be in JPG format.
- Color mode: Photos must either be color (RGB) or black-and-white (grayscale) or a combination of color and black-and-white
- Cropping: Crop photos as desired for competition. They need not be cropped for competition in the same manner in which they appeared in the publication.
- Image Size: Photos should be as large as possible (without enlarging), but must not exceed 5,000 pixels in the long direction.
- Metadata: Photos must have the name of its creator, and a caption, entered in the document info for the image.
- The photo must be in its original state and cannot be altered in any way, including but not limited to removing, adding, reversing, or distorting subjects within the frame.
- Violators will be removed from the contest and banned from entering future contests.
- Entries will not be accepted unless submitted via the official contest channel. Entries not submitted through the proper channel will be deleted.
- Entries will be judged by the Green Lake Area Chamber Staff & Board Members. All decisions are final. GLACC reserves the right to disqualify any entry that is deemed inappropriate or does not conform to stated contest rules.
- By entering the contest, entrants agree that photos submitted can be used by GLACC for advertising purposes.
- Submissions will not be accepted once the deadline lapses.
- The contest is void where prohibited or restricted by law.
