Kwik Trip is the best gas station brand in the United States for the third year in a row, according to the 2022 USA Today 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards.
Family-owned Kwik Trip operates more than 600 stores in Wisconsin (including three in Portage, WI) and Minnesota, as well as in Iowa as Kwik Star. In-store bakeries make more than two dozen different items each day, and all milk sold gets bottled within 24 hours of reaching the Kwik Trip dairy.
Kwik Trip is No. 11 on CSP’s just-released 2022 Top 202 ranking of U.S. convenience-store chains by total number of company-owned retail outlets. CSP magazine claims to be “the leading media brand serving the convenience industry.”
A USA Today panel of experts partnered with 10Best editors to pick the initial nominees, and readers determined the top 10 winners by popular vote
