FOIA Request to Town Of Brooklyn Regarding New Voter Registrations on November 7, 2024.
In our continuous effort to provide comprehensive and accurate news coverage on local governmental affairs, we at SC Wisconsin News have sent a request under the Wisconsin Open Records Law, §19.31 et seq., to the Town of Brooklyn. The request, dated November 7, 2024, seeks access to a list of new voters who registered on Election Day, November 5, 2024.
As an organization committed to transparency and accountability in public institutions, we believe that access to such records is crucial for fulfilling our professional responsibilities.
