FOIA Request to City Of Wautoma Regarding New Voter Registrations on November 7, 2024.
As part of our ongoing commitment to transparency and accountability in local government affairs, we at SC Wisconsin News have submitted a request under the Wisconsin Open Records Law for a list of new voters who registered on November 5, 2024.
We believe that access to such public records is crucial in fulfilling our professional responsibilities which include holding public institutions accountable and providing comprehensive and accurate news coverage to the public. As a media organization, we have requested for these records preferably in an electronic format for ease of analysis and reporting.
In line with our role as disseminators of information, we have also requested for a fee waiver as a media professional. We remain committed to ensuring that the public stays informed about important developments within their communities and trust that this request will be treated with the urgency it deserves.
