Simplicity Credit Union has announced plans to construct a new facility in the Portage County Business Park, Stevens Point, Wisconsin. The credit union is collaborating with Keller, Inc., a design and general contractor based in Central Wisconsin, for the project. The groundbreaking event is scheduled for early April 2025, with the branch expected to open by late fall of the same year.

Nick Faber, CEO of Simplicity Credit Union, expressed enthusiasm about the development: “This is a significant milestone for Simplicity Credit Union. We are incredibly grateful for the continued support of our members and the Stevens Point community. This move represents our commitment to providing even better services and a more convenient experience.”

The upcoming branch will include a larger lobby, meeting spaces for financial consultations, and an innovative 24/7 Drive Up service. These features aim to enhance accessibility and foster stronger connections within Stevens Point, Plover, and nearby areas.

Rachel Jackson, Branch Manager at Stevens Point, commented on the transition: “We’re looking forward to this new chapter. While we have loved our time at our current location, this new building will bring new opportunities to serve our members, friends, and neighbors.”

Further details and updates about the new branch can be found at www.simplicity.coop/stevens-point.
