Baseball enthusiasts in the community will continue to benefit from the Share the Glove Equipment Grant, thanks to a collaboration between the Woodchucks, Ignite, the Northwoods League Foundation, and Rawlings. This initiative, which started in 2018 as part of the Northwoods League’s 25th Season Celebration, aims to promote youth participation in baseball and softball.
The Woodchucks and Ignite express their commitment to inspiring the Wausau area community through this program, intending to improve the quality of life for local children and their families via the medium of baseball.
Upcoming games include the Woodchucks' home opener on May 29 against the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters, starting at 6:35 PM. Wausau Ignite Softball will begin their season on June 10 against the La Crosse Steam at Athletic Park. Tickets for single games, seasons, group arrangements, and special packages are currently available by contacting 715-845-5055.
