Wausau Ignite Softball has announced the addition of two local pitchers for the 2025 season. Maren Sauvageau, from North Iowa Area Community College, and Hannah Trzinski, from the University of Minnesota at Crookston, will join the team as they begin their inaugural campaign.
Maren Sauvageau, a right-handed pitcher standing at 5'10", is originally from Plover, Wisconsin. She played high school softball at Stevens Point Area Senior High and received four all-conference and two all-district selections. This season with the Trojans, she has appeared in 22 games and recorded a 3.29 ERA over 55.1 innings.
Hannah Trzinski is also a right-handed pitcher with a height of 5'6". A native of Stevens Point, she played for Pacelli High School where she won state championships in both 2023 and 2024. In 2023, she was named Division 5 Player of the Year in Wisconsin. This season, Trzinski has achieved eight strikeouts and one save through 14 innings.
