First State Bank is set to celebrate June Dairy Month with community events at its offices, offering free ice cream floats to honor local dairy farmers and the industry. The festivities will kick off at the Marshfield office on Friday, June 6, from 11 am to 3 pm. Following this, similar events will take place at the Stevens Point and Auburndale offices on Friday, June 20, and in Wisconsin Rapids on Friday, June 27.

Gretchen Steinbecker, vice president of marketing at First State Bank, expressed the bank's commitment to acknowledging the significance of the dairy industry. “Nothing says summer in Wisconsin like ice cream and dairy pride,” she stated. “First State Bank recognizes how important it is to thank those within the dairy industry who produce our favorite dairy products. Rain or shine, we hope you and your family will join us for free ice cream floats as we support area dairy farmers.”
