The Central Wisconsin Symphony Orchestra (CWSO) has announced its upcoming summer fundraiser, the Bluegrass & BBQ Bash. Scheduled for Friday, June 20, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m., the event will be held at Great Northern Distilling in Stevens Point.
Tickets are priced at $65 and include live entertainment, food, and raffle opportunities. Music will be provided by The Foragers, a local bluegrass band sponsored by Headcase Salon. Catering will be handled by Smoking J’s BBQ. A cash bar with a featured drink will also be available. Raffle tickets offer chances to win various prizes including a pendant valued at $2,000 donated by Lee Ayers Jewelers.
The fundraiser aims to support CWSO's mission of enriching, engaging, and educating through live music performances. Proceeds will help fund concerts, educational programs, and community outreach initiatives.

The CWSO is composed of sixty-five professional musicians from central Wisconsin. Many members are music educators, university professors, students, and full-time musicians. Celebrating its 76th year, the orchestra remains integral to the arts and cultural life of Central Wisconsin.
