Rep. Alex Dallman, a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly, recently highlighted legislative and community developments in a series of social media posts.

On July 14, 2025, Dallman summarized key components of the state’s new budget: "Two weeks ago we enacted the WI 2025–27 Budget:

• $1.5 B tax cut

• No sales tax on home energy

• UW admin cap

• Rural roads funding

The following day, he drew attention to environmental concerns affecting Green Lake: "Since 2014, Green Lake has been listed as impaired due to the high levels of phosphorus. The Green Lake Association has been at the forefront of finding a meaningful solution by gathering data and bringing in nationally renowned scientists. On July 16, 2025, Dallman addressed public safety issues in Fond du Lac County: "Over the past few years, violent crime has risen in Fond du Lac County. However, it has been difficult to prosecute offenders in a timely manner due to overworked staff in the District Attorney’s Office. That’s why I was proud to vote to add more Assistant District Attorneys https://t.co/aoi77kxPW3".

Green Lake's impairment status is linked to ongoing water quality challenges that have persisted for more than a decade. Efforts by local organizations such as the Green Lake Association have included scientific research and advocacy aimed at addressing elevated phosphorus levels and improving lake health.

Fond du Lac County's recent increase in violent crime reflects broader statewide trends reported across Wisconsin since the early 2020s. Staffing shortages within district attorney offices have posed obstacles for timely prosecutions and case management.

Dallman's comments come amid continued debate over fiscal policy and public investment priorities during Wisconsin's biennial budget cycle.
