Lodi City Clerk Columbia County WI issued the following on Dec. 23
Virtual Public Hearing Registration
The City of Lodi welcomes the input of interested individuals to speak during public hearings.
Virtual meeting attendees planning to speak at the public hearing must register 24 hours in advance. Advanced registration is not required for in-person attendees who speak during the public hearing.
In general, to allow fair and equal participation in the meeting, limit comments to three minutes or less, speak only to the public hearing subject during that specific section of the agenda, and respect the rights and view of others.
Individuals attending the meeting virtually and planning to speak during the public hearing should keep the following etiquette in mind:
- Log into the meeting at least 15 minutes early to be identified by the meeting organizer.
- State your name and address prior to speaking.
- Limit the topic to the public hearing subject.
- Mute yourself when you have finished speaking. If you are unsure how to mute yourself, the virtual meeting organizer will mute you to limit background noise.
- The chat box is public record and should only be used for official business.
