Public Safety Family Night

Description
Public Safety Family Night will be held on Thursday August 19 from 4:00 to 7:00pm at the Adams County Fairgrounds, CTH J in Friendship. This free event is designed to bring awareness to crime prevention efforts in the community and to foster positive interactions with law enforcement. A medical helicopter is scheduled to land at 5:30 PM with a K9 demonstration at 6 PM. Local law enforcement agencies, fire departments and medical personnel will be participating in this family friendly event. There will be booths with protective/preventative information including ID theft, fraud prevention and poison control along with other public safety information. There will be information on electrical safety, protective safety equipment, DRONE demonstration, Emergency Command Trailer and Impaired Driving Simulation. There will be vehicles and rescue equipment to look at including SWAT vehicles and even a medical helicopter! My quote would be... Public Safety Night enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. This event also provides a great opportunity to bring our community members together with law enforcement for a safer community.
