UW-Stevens Point hosts music concerts across campuses this February

The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point is offering a series of music concerts on its campuses in Stevens Point and Marshfield throughout February. The events will take place at the Noel Fine Arts Center Michelsen Hall in Stevens Point and the Helen Connor Laird Theatre in Marshfield, both starting at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets for the Stevens Point concerts are priced at $17 for the general public, $15 for seniors aged 62 and over, and $10 for youth under 18 and UWSP employees. These can be purchased online, at the Information and Tickets desk in the Dreyfus University Center, or by calling 715-346-4100.

In Marshfield, tickets are available online for $10 per person as the box office is not currently staffed. All ticket purchases can be made through uwsptickets.universitytickets.com.

The concert schedule includes several performances:

- On Friday, January 24th, a faculty recital featuring Danielle Breisach on flute, cello, and piano will be free to attend.

- The 33rd Annual Jazz Fest is scheduled for Friday, February 7th.

- On Friday, February 14th, UWSP at Marshfield will host the Hub City Winds Concert.

- The Wind Symphony and Symphonic Wind Ensemble Concert will take place on Thursday, February 20th.

- A Symphony Orchestra Concert is set for Thursday, February 27th.

- Finally, on Friday, February 28th, there will be a free faculty recital by Jessica Dodge-Overstreet on saxophone.

These events provide an opportunity to enjoy diverse musical performances throughout the month.
