The Food + Farm Exploration Center in Plover, Wisconsin will host a free U-Pick Harvest Day on August 5, 2025. The event is scheduled from 5 to 7 p.m. and is open to the public with no registration or ticket required.

Participants can harvest green beans, cucumbers, and different types of potatoes from the center’s demonstration fields. The event aims to provide a hands-on agricultural experience for families and community members. A BBQ picnic dinner will be available for purchase during the event.

"This free, family-friendly event offers a unique opportunity to experience agriculture up close by picking your own fresh produce right from Food + Farm Exploration Center’s demonstration fields," according to the announcement.

Organizers note that the event is weather-dependent. Updates or changes can be found on their website at https://explorefoodandfarm.org/ or through their social media channels.
