Marquette County's student body comprised mostly of white students in 2024-25 school year

White students were the most represented ethnic group within Marquette County schools in the 2024-25 school year, according to the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.

Of the 1,592 students attending Marquette County schools, 86.2% were white. Hispanic students were the second largest ethnicity, making up 8.7% of Marquette County students.

In the previous school year, white students were also the most common group in Marquette County, representing 86.7% of the student body.

Countywide, Endeavor Elementary School had the most even distribution of races, which included 75.4% white students, 14% Hispanic students, 5.3% multiracial students, 3.5% Black students, and 1.8% Asian students.

In the 2024-25 school year, the total number of students enrolled in public schools in the county increased 2.7% from the previous year.

Wisconsin ranks 22nd in the U.S. for public education spending, with an annual expenditure of over $16,500 per pupil, totaling $13.8 billion.
