Waushara County: 0.5% less students were enrolled in 2024-25 school year

There were 2,542 students enrolled in Waushara County schools in the 2024-25 school year, 0.5% less than the previous school year, according to the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2024-25 school year, 50.7% identified themselves as male, 49.3% as female.

Data also showed that white students comprised 76.5% of the student body in Waushara County schools—the largest share—followed by Hispanic students at 18.5%, multiracial students at 3%, and Asian students at 0.8%.

Parkside School had the highest enrollment among Waushara County’s 11 schools in the 2024-25 school year, welcoming 480 students.

Wisconsin ranked 29th in the U.S. for student-to-teacher ratio at 14:1, according to a study by AAA State of Play.
