The majority of students in Marquette County districts were white in the 2024-25 school year, according to the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.

Of the 1,635 students attending Marquette County district schools, 86.7% were white. Hispanic students were the second largest ethnic group within Marquette County's districts, making up 8.6% of the student body.

In the previous school year, white students were also the most common group in Marquette County districts, representing 87.1% of the student body.

Montello School District had the most diverse student body in the county, which included American Indian, Asian, African American, Hispanic, multiracial, and white.

In the 2024-25 school year, the total number of students enrolled in school districts in the county increased 1.6% compared to the previous year.
