Enrollment Analysis: Did Marquette County's school districts enrollment rise or fall in 2024-25 school year?

There were 1,635 students enrolled in Marquette County school districts in the 2024-25 school year, 1.6% more than the previous year, according to the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.

The county's data showed that ninth grade had the largest enrollment, with 151 students, while pre-kindergarten saw the smallest, with 79 students.

Countywide, Westfield School District welcomed the most students during the 2024-25 school year.

The main offices of all districts mentioned in the article are located in cities associated with Marquette County.

According to the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) 2024 Mathematics Snapshot Report for Wisconsin Grade 8, there remains a significant achievement gap between ethnic groups in Wisconsin. White students outperformed Black students by an average of 50 points, and Hispanic students scored on average 32 points lower than their white peers.
