There were 579 students enrolled in Tri-County Area School District in the 2024-25 school year, 1% more than the previous year, according to the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2024-25 school year, 50.6% identified themselves as boys, 49.4% as girls.

Data also shows that most of the students were white, accounting for 68.1% of the Tri-County Area School District total enrollment.

Tri-County Area School District covers four schools within Waushara County, with its main office in Plainfield.

Among the four schools in the district, Tri-County Elementary School recorded the highest enrollment of 265 students in the 2024-25 school year.

Wisconsin had a student-to-teacher ratio of 14-to-1 in 2025, lower than the national average of 16-to-1, according to Public School Review.
