There were 1,300 students enrolled in Wautoma Area School District in the 2024-25 school year, 0.8% less than the previous year, according to the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2024-25 school year, 51.8% identified themselves as boys, 48.2% as girls.

Data also shows that most of the students were white, accounting for 75.4% of the Wautoma Area School District total enrollment.

Wautoma Area School District covers four schools within Waushara County, with its main office in Wautoma.

Among the four schools in the district, Parkside School recorded the highest enrollment of 480 students in the 2024-25 school year.

Wisconsin ranks 22nd in the U.S. for public education spending, with an annual expenditure of over $16,500 per pupil, totaling $13.8 billion per year.
