On October 25, 2025, the Columbus Police Department will take part in the national Fall Drug Takeback program. The event will run from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at the department's location at 159 S. Ludington St. Community members are invited to drop off unused, unneeded, or expired medications during this time.
The department will offer a drive-up service to make the process easier for participants. Parking spaces will be reserved in front of the building so that people can remain in their vehicles while handing over medications. However, the department will not be able to accept liquid medications.
